2017 Miss ADA Firemen's Rodeo Princess
Edmond, Oklahoma is home for Hadley, an honor roll student and student athlete, active in school activities. She loves horses and has been riding for several years.
A highlight of 2017 was competing in the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Princess Pageant, where her fellow contestants selected her to receive the Congeniality Award. In the Ada pageant, she was honored to earn the category awards for horsemanship, appearance and personality.
Besides riding in the rodeo, Hadley loves meeting people, signing autographs and telling people about the sport. Even if someone doesn’t know rodeo, they can appreciate the traits of independence, honor, loyalty and strength demonstrated by many cowboys and cowgirls.
Hadley is especially proud of the number of horses she’s gaining experience on in her rodeo journey, which is a bit untraditional. She currently competes without having her own horses at home and is proof that what may seem like obstacles are opportunities. Thanks to countless supporters, sponsors, friends and family members for making this possible.
Hadley says, “Thank you to the Ada Firemen’s Rodeo, the Ada Professional Firefighters, Sam Smith and pageant coordinators Brandy Sovo and Jamie Harrison for an amazing opportunity. I also appreciate the support shown to me by 2016 Ada Firemen’s Rodeo Princess Bailey Barrett and her mom, Ashley. Best wishes to Veronika Cornett, the 2017 Ada Firemen’s Rodeo Queen. We are having fun!”
